Kids Yoga Class - Better Quality of Life for Your Children

Dear Karma fellas, we will start bringing yoga to all children from Nov 5th! If you have kids, bring them to Karma. Let them enjoy the fun from yoga and learn through play!

What’s in kids yoga class

The class is composed of Yoga poses (Asanas), Breathing awareness exercises (Pranayama), Mediation and lots of fun elements including yoga games, partner and group poses, arts and crafts, and more! Very different from an adult yoga class, fun elements such as games is an important part of a kid yoga class.

Kids learn through PLAY! Games can help shifting the energy of a class; help kids working together and communicating with other kids. Let them enjoy the laughter that yoga can bring!

Benefits of kids yoga

Most people already know the benefits of yoga - healthy body, healthy mind. Why don’t we introduce to the little ones earlier? Physically, yoga helps develop strength, flexibility, mobility and coordination. Mentally, yoga helps improve concentration, reducing stress and mind control.

In these days, kids are living in a more demanding world compared to those days when we are a kid. They are told to be good at academics, sports, music and a thousand things more. We always forget our kids also need rest. Yoga is a good tool for them, teach them to be mindful about themselves, their body and mind.


Teachers' Bio

Mandy is a certified Hatha, Prenatal and Kids yoga teacher. She loves running and started yoga as a tool for stretching and releasing muscle tension. Few years later, she met yoga master Ganesh, who inspires her and bring yoga into her life. She believes yoga is a journey to explore inner self and peace.

Madeline's philosophy in teaching yoga is to bring self-awareness to the mat to teach her students how they can practice with the correct alignment for their own body. She also wants to teach them how to love wherever they may be in their practice and not compare themselves to others. She has been working with children for seven years. Children are the future of this planet and they are the ones who will be able to make the changes if we can give them the space that they need to grow.
