Madeline Adcock is a Hong Kong-born Eurasian. She is passionate about health, movement and well-being and she believes yoga is one of the best ways to explore this as it teaches self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-love. Her favourite styles of yoga are Bikram, Vinyasa, Hatha and more recently, Yin. Bikram and Vinyasa have been the main influencers in her practise and teaching, she loves the mental and physical strength that is needed in these practices. That is why she loves yoga, it not only builds strength in the body but also in the mind and spirit. Yoga is the unity that brings these three things together.
Her philosophy in teaching yoga is to bring self-awareness to the mat to teach her students how they can practice with the correct alignment for their own body. She also wants to teach them how to love wherever they may be in their practice and not compare themselves to others. She has been working with children for seven years. Children are the future of this planet and they are the ones who will be able to make the changes if we can give them the space that they need to grow.
